Coffee and Tea Bars Cutting Evening Hours
CANTON OH (Dec 30th, 2024)- Both the Downtown Canton and Lake Cable area Muggswigz stores will change their hours to be more similar to the Portage Lakes and Downtown Akron Muggswigz locations. The Downtown Canton and Lake Cable locations will now be closing at 5pm. “The team and I have had a lot of fun providing a hub for the community in the evenings also, but I feel we are now in the unfortunate position of having to choose to either lower our quality standards or reduce our hours and I’d rather do the latter.” said Alexander Haas, founder and president of the company. “I believe it is just a matter of time before we can extend the hours into the evening again.”
Muggswigz has been Canton’s local coffee roaster and tea merchant since 2003. There are four locations located in Downtown Canton, Jackson Township, Portage Lakes, and Downtown Akron.
